My friends call me Bigmix…..a MotorCity homegrown guy who was Blessed with the opportunity to work with some of the biggest musical names in the Music Industy. To name them all would be braggin - to name a few simply Gives me a bit of credibility…….LOL
We are here today to launch the MFD site…..and bring you the artists who simply would like for you to listen to their music, then if you like it..support their efforts..buy it and make it so.
MFD….is the showcase for a selective bunch of very talented artist.. Some you may have heard of, others you won’t have a clue….until you visit the bio pages and music samples that follow this brief introduction
It has been a challenging but inspirational journey to Finally be able to reach inside the heart & soul of Detroit and allow writers, producers, artists , musicians , and arrangers, the opportunity to express their talents in the manner they created ,without having to chase a trend or follow instructions given by the one track mind controllers of (for lack of a better definition) a failing musical system.
It’s true that everything has a time…..and the sound and concept of music has changed…..we just happen to think that there’s enough room for NEW and OLD expressions by those of us who happen to walk to the beat of a slightly different drum…..
We would like to share our happiness, love, pain and affections with all of you who stop by and take the time to read a bit and or listen to a track or two. Mainstream radio and retailers don’t Open their arms and ears to what we do, So we can’t promise a top 10 hit or platinum seller is listed and living here??.Honestly. We wish we could please everyone that stops by to say hello and give a listen, but of course that’s almost impossible?.. but we will do our best To provide you with our best on a regular basis.
